How to connect Suunto

Connecting Suunto to Enhance-d, and what comes across once you have

Enhance-d reads your data from your Suunto account rather than from the device itself, so whatever reaches Suunto reaches Enhance-d. Nothing is installed on the device.

Once it is connected, Enhance-d receives your workouts and steps.

Connect Suunto

  1. Open Enhance-d and go to Settings.
  2. Under Integrations, tap Manage integrations.
  3. Find Suunto in the list and tap it.
  4. A screen appears headed Connect to Suunto. Tap Continue.
  5. A browser window opens on Suunto's own sign-in page. Sign in and allow the connection.
  6. You are returned to Enhance-d, which confirms Successfully connected to Suunto.

Your data will not appear straight away. Give it a few minutes - the first sync has to be fetched before it can show up anywhere in the app.

Enhance-d never sees your Suunto password - you type it on their site, not ours.

Which devices this covers

31 watches and dive computers, including Suunto Race 2, Suunto Race S, Suunto Race, Suunto Vertical 2, Suunto Vertical, Suunto Run, Suunto Ocean, Suunto Nautic, Suunto Nautic S, Suunto 9 Peak Pro, Suunto 9 Peak and Suunto 9 Baro - and others. The full list is on the product site.

If you also connect another route in

Records are stored against the connection they arrived through. So if the same workout reaches Enhance-d twice - once from Suunto, and once from Strava or a phone health app that Suunto also feeds - it appears twice, because the two copies arrive as separate records and cannot be matched to each other.

If you are seeing everything doubled, that is almost always why. Disconnect whichever route you want less, and keep one.

If it will not connect

  1. Check you are not at the free limit. In Manage integrations the banner reads "X of 3 Free integrations connected". At three, tapping a new one brings up an upgrade prompt rather than the connection, which can look like a failure. Disconnect one you no longer use, or upgrade.
  2. Make sure Enhance-d is up to date, then force-close it and open it again.
  3. Try once more. The connect step reaches out at the moment you tap it, so a dropped connection ends it early.
  4. If you are signed into more than one Suunto account, sign out of Suunto in your phone's browser first, so you are not authorising the wrong one.

Still stuck? Message us and say which phone you are on and how far you got. That tells us which half of the connection to look at.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → Manage integrations, tap Suunto, and disconnect. Data already in Enhance-d stays where it is; nothing new arrives after that.
