Your phone talks to NovoPen® directly and passes the readings on. Your NovoPen® sign-in is kept in your phone's secure storage, not on our servers, and the sync carries on in the background while the app is closed.
Once it is connected, Enhance-d receives insulin doses.
Connect NovoPen®
- Open Enhance-d and go to Settings.
- Under Integrations, tap Manage integrations.
- Find NovoPen® in the list and tap it.
- Read the note explaining that this one runs on your phone, and continue.
- Enter your NovoPen® details on the screen that follows and save.
- The first sync starts straight away. Leave the app open for a minute while it catches up.
Your data will not appear straight away. Give it a few minutes - the first sync has to be fetched before it can show up anywhere in the app.
This is an unofficial integration: it uses NovoPen®'s own service the way their app does, rather than a partnership with them. If they change something at their end it can stop until we catch up.
Which devices this covers
NovoPen 6 and NovoPen Echo Plus.
If it will not connect
- Check you are not at the free limit. In Manage integrations the banner reads "X of 3 Free integrations connected". At three, tapping a new one brings up an upgrade prompt rather than the connection, which can look like a failure. Disconnect one you no longer use, or upgrade.
- Make sure Enhance-d is up to date, then force-close it and open it again.
- Try once more. The connect step reaches out at the moment you tap it, so a dropped connection ends it early.
Still stuck? Message us and say which phone you are on and how far you got. That tells us which half of the connection to look at.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Manage integrations, tap NovoPen®, and disconnect. Data already in Enhance-d stays where it is; nothing new arrives after that.
