Enhance-d reads your data from your Garmin account rather than from the device itself, so whatever reaches Garmin reaches Enhance-d. Nothing is installed on the device.
Once it is connected, Enhance-d receives your workouts, sleep, cycle tracking and steps.
Connect Garmin
- Open Enhance-d and go to Settings.
- Under Integrations, tap Manage integrations.
- Find Garmin in the list and tap it.
- A screen appears headed Connect to Garmin. Tap Continue.
- A browser window opens on Garmin's own sign-in page. Sign in and allow the connection.
- You are returned to Enhance-d, which confirms Successfully connected to Garmin.
Your data will not appear straight away. Give it a few minutes - the first sync has to be fetched before it can show up anywhere in the app.
Enhance-d never sees your Garmin password - you type it on their site, not ours.
Which devices this covers
207 watches, bike computers, trackers and scales, including Forerunner 970, Forerunner 965, Forerunner 955, Forerunner 955 Solar, Forerunner 945, Forerunner 945 LTE, Forerunner 745, Forerunner 570, Forerunner 265, Forerunner 265S, Forerunner 255 and Forerunner 255 Music - and others. The full list is on the product site.
If you also connect another route in
Records are stored against the connection they arrived through. So if the same workout reaches Enhance-d twice - once from Garmin, and once from Strava or a phone health app that Garmin also feeds - it appears twice, because the two copies arrive as separate records and cannot be matched to each other.
If you are seeing everything doubled, that is almost always why. Disconnect whichever route you want less, and keep one.
Glucose does not come from Garmin
This catches people out, because Garmin's own Connect IQ apps can show glucose on your watch face - but that is glucose travelling the other way, from your CGM to your watch, and it is set up in Garmin's apps rather than here. In Enhance-d, glucose comes from your CGM connection. Garmin supplies what you did; your CGM supplies what your glucose did. Enhance-d lines the two up.
If it will not connect
- Check you are not at the free limit. In Manage integrations the banner reads "X of 3 Free integrations connected". At three, tapping a new one brings up an upgrade prompt rather than the connection, which can look like a failure. Disconnect one you no longer use, or upgrade.
- Make sure Enhance-d is up to date, then force-close it and open it again.
- Try once more. The connect step reaches out at the moment you tap it, so a dropped connection ends it early.
- If you are signed into more than one Garmin account, sign out of Garmin in your phone's browser first, so you are not authorising the wrong one.
Still stuck? Message us and say which phone you are on and how far you got. That tells us which half of the connection to look at.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Manage integrations, tap Garmin, and disconnect. Data already in Enhance-d stays where it is; nothing new arrives after that.
