Integrate with... NovoPen 6 / NovoPen Echo

You can integrate your NovoPen 6 or NovoPen Echo with Enhance-d by using the Abbott FreeStyle LibreLink app.

This only works if you are using an Abbott Freestyle Libre CGM, as the FreeStyle Libre API only provides this data alongside glucose information.

Step 1: Add Your NovoPen to the LibreLink App

For Libre 2 Users (Using the LibreLink App)

1️⃣ Open the LibreLink App.
2️⃣ Select Insulin Pens from the left-hand menu.
3️⃣ Tap + Add Insulin Pen (if your pen is not already listed).

For Libre 3 Users
(Using Libre 3 for CGM and LibreLink for Insulin Pen Data)

1️⃣ Download the LibreLink App – This app will be used only for scanning your insulin pen, while you continue using Libre 3 for your CGM.
2️⃣ Open the LibreLink App.
3️⃣ Select Insulin Pens from the left-hand menu.
4️⃣ Tap + Add Insulin Pen (if your pen is not already listed).

Step 2: Scan Your NovoPen to Transfer Insulin Data

For iPhone Users:

1️⃣ Open the LibreLink App.
2️⃣ Tap the Scan button – A “Ready to Scan” message will appear.
3️⃣ Hold your NovoPen against the top of your phone.
4️⃣ Do not move your phone or NovoPen until you hear a tone and/or feel a vibration.
✅ Your insulin dose data has now been transferred.

For Android Users:

1️⃣ Open the LibreLink App.
2️⃣ Hold your NovoPen flat against the back of your phone.
3️⃣ Do not move your phone or NovoPen until you hear a tone and/or feel a vibration.
✅ Your insulin dose data has now been transferred.

Step 3: Connect LibreLink to Enhance-d

Once your NovoPen is synced with the LibreLink App, you can connect your LibreView account to Enhance-d:

Via the Enhance-d Mobile App:

1️⃣ Open the Enhance-d App.
2️⃣ Go to the Integrations tab.
3️⃣ Click Connect next to Abbott FreeStyle Libre.
4️⃣ Select Continue.
5️⃣ Enter your LibreView account details and press Login.
6️⃣ Click Done – Your NovoPen insulin and freestyle libre CGM data is now integrated with Enhance-d!

Via the Enhance-d Dashboard:

1️⃣ Open the Enhance-d Dashboard: https://dashboard.enhance-d.com.
2️⃣ Click your initials or profile photo in the top right to open Settings.
3️⃣ Click Connected Apps & Devices.
4️⃣ Click Connect next to Abbott FreeStyle Libre.
5️⃣ Enter your LibreView account details and press Login.
6️⃣ Click Done – Your NovoPen insulin and freestyle libre CGM data is now integrated with Enhance-d!

Important Note

🚨 Abbott's FreeStyle Libre integration is currently unavailable in Germany and France. We are actively working to bring this feature to these regions.
