Share into chats from any app, polls and quiet hours

Enhance-d 3.1.1 lets you share photos, videos, files and links from any app into your chats, adds polls to group chats and Group posts, and quiet hours that silence notifications overnight. It also brings event and podcast cards to the feed and fixes the most common Android crash.

Released 4 November 2026

3.1.1 is about chatting. You can now share photos, videos, files and links from any app straight into your chats, run polls in group chats and Group posts, and set quiet hours so notifications arrive silently overnight. It also fixes the most common Android crash in 3.0 and 3.1.

โœจ New Features

  • Share from other apps: Enhance-d now appears in your phone's share sheet. Share photos, videos, files, links or text from Photos, Files, a browser or any other app straight into one or more chats. Photos are grouped up to 10 to a message, and you can add a note before sending. What you share waits safely if you need to sign in first.
  • Suggested chats: your recent chats appear directly in the share sheet, so one tap sends to the right person or group.
  • Share events and threads into a chat: Group events and thread cards have a Share in chat option. Shared event links now open the app, and someone who isn't a member is shown how to join the group instead of an empty screen.
  • Polls: create a poll in any group chat from the share tray, or with "Create a Poll" in a Group's new-post wizard. Every member can vote, add options (if allowed) and see who voted, even in announcement-only chats. Polls you send while offline go out once you're back online.
  • Quiet hours: in Settings > Notifications > Quiet hours, set a daily window when notifications arrive silently, without sound or vibration. Choose which kinds of notification may still make a sound. It's also reachable from Settings > Messages, a chat's details, and a banner on your chat list while quiet hours are on.
  • Text size in chats: Settings > Messages > Text size in chats, from Small to Largest.
  • Pin a chat from the More sheet, or hold any chat. Pin Groups by swiping or holding, the same way.
  • Picked for you: a rail of upcoming events and podcast episodes a few rows into your feed.
  • Event spotlights: each upcoming event gets a full-width card with the whole poster, a countdown, I'm going, add to calendar and share. After you tap I'm going, Enhance-d offers to add the event to your calendar.
  • Podcasts in the feed: episodes get their own cards, spread through the feed: featured episodes first, then the newest episode from every other show.
  • Join Call: an event with a Google Meet, Zoom or Teams link shows a Join Call button that opens the call.
  • Edit your Group posts: change the title and text of your own post or question from its menu.
  • Full glucose chart on activities: an activity's full chart now matches the home glucose card, with carbs, bolus, insulin on board and basal in their own lanes, the same layer pills, scrubbing and totals. Pan and zoom within the activity, and Reset takes you back to it.

๐Ÿฆ‹ Improvements

  • Easier to read chats: wider message bubbles, bigger text, stronger contrast, and chats now follow your phone's text size.
  • Nightscout readings arrive sooner: if your account uses Nightscout or Gluroo, your phone now reads your site between our server's 15-minute checks, so new readings land in between. Nothing extra to set up.
  • Android, screen off: always-on sync now keeps running while the screen is off. Before, it could sit idle for as long as the screen stayed dark.
  • Android, Nightscout only: if Nightscout is your only source, the always-on service runs only when you have a glucose widget or turn on "Nightscout in the background" on the integrations screen.
  • iPhone, Background App Refresh: if it's off, on-device glucose sync can only run while the app is open. The setup banner and the paused notification now say so, with a button to open the app's settings.
  • NovoPen on iPhone: scanning now accepts pens that iPhone reports as a different type of NFC tag. If the pen drops the connection mid-scan, the app reconnects and shows where to hold the pen. Each scan's steps appear in the sync log for support.
  • Activities: add up to 5 photos, up from 3. In the share composer, choose which photo the Photo style uses as its background. Share now sits in the activity header, beside the menu.
  • Activity glucose card: shows bolus doses and carbs on the trace, with their values at the cursor and Bolus and Carbs totals for the chart window.
  • Analyse: carbs, bolus and basal are now separate tracks you can switch on, next to glucose.
  • Events in Groups: the Event filter lists the group's events, events stay listed until they end, and events show under All.
  • Settings: opens with a new integrations card showing your connected sources and a Live indicator, and Data sources sits directly after Glucose.
  • Onboarding: on the paywall, "Continue with free" is larger and easier to see.

๐Ÿ› Bug Fixes

  • Android, notifications with the app closed: a notification arriving while Enhance-d was fully closed could crash it, and background tasks triggered by notifications never ran. This was the most common Android crash in 3.0 and 3.1.
  • Android, always-on sync: fixed two crashes when the sync service restarted, including one on opening the app straight after the phone starts.
  • iPhone, Oral-B: "Look for my brush" no longer crashes the app, and pairing works.
  • Feed taps: toggling the Basal chip on the You page's glucose card could open someone else's activity from the feed hidden behind it. Hidden feed cards now ignore taps.
  • NovoPen on iPhone: some pens sat on "Ready to scan" and then said the pen could not be read.
  • Activity glucose card: in-range figures no longer shrink to an unreadable size on iPhone.
  • Android chat list: swipe actions now respond to taps.
  • Chat list: the divider no longer goes missing above Group chats.

๐ŸŒ Translations

  • About 190 missing strings are now translated into all 17 other languages, including the new integrations card and chat messages.
  • Romanian: the carbs readout says logged, not signed in.
  • Club: copy updated to say a streak day needs the app opened.

๐Ÿ“ Notes

  • People on older versions of the app see "Update the app" in place of a poll instead of a blank message.
  • Quiet hours never drop a notification. They only silence it.
  • This build is available on iOS and Android.
