Every page of your feed was fetching around 300 full activities to show 20 of them. It doesn't any more.
✨ Improvements
- Faster feed: The feed picks its 20 posts from a lightweight list first, and only loads those 20 in full. In testing, each page loaded in about a third of the time and moved a tenth of the data.
- Faster profiles and activities: Activity insights were being worked out for every post you have ever made each time a profile or activity opened. They are now worked out only for what is on screen. In testing, profiles and activity pages went from up to a second to about a tenth of one.
📝 Notes
- Nothing to update. Your feed shows the same posts in the same order as before.
