Apple Health glucose at the right time

Glucose from Apple Health was being stored shifted by your time zone offset. New readings now land at the right time.

Released 5 October 2026

Apple Health sends glucose times in UTC, but we were treating them as local time and adding your time zone offset again. For someone in New York, every Apple Health reading appeared four hours late.

๐Ÿ› Bug Fixes

  • Apple Health glucose shifted by your time zone: Readings are now stored at the moment they were taken, and shown in your local time.
  • Half-hour time zones west of UTC: Glucose from any connection in a time zone like -03:30 (Newfoundland) was being placed an hour out. Fixed.

๐Ÿ“ Notes

  • Nothing to update or reconnect. This is a change on our servers.
  • The fix applies to readings from 5 October onwards. Readings from before then keep their current times for now. Where we can, we will correct earlier readings too.
  • If you are in UTC (the UK in winter), nothing changes for you.
