Delete & Re-import and Resync are there for when an integration's data looks wrong. For many connections they reported success and changed nothing you could see.
๐ Bug Fixes
- Glucose didn't change after Delete & Re-import: For Dexcom, Nightscout, Tidepool and Gluroo, both actions removed readings from a store the app does not show, so your charts stayed the same. Delete & Re-import now removes your readings and fetches the last 90 days again. Resync removes just the range you picked and fetches it again.
- Re-import never asked Garmin, Strava and others: For connections through our partner Terra, Delete & Re-import promised the last 90 days back but never requested them. It now does, a week at a time, newest first.
- Resync could lose data: Resync deleted the range before asking Terra for it, so when the provider refused (Garmin often does), the data was gone while the app said all was well. Resync now deletes nothing up front: what comes back replaces what is there, and a refusal is reported with nothing changed.
- Resync wiping more than the range: Resyncing a week of glucose could mark every reading that provider ever sent as deleted, and a batch of deletes could stop after the first one. Both fixed.
- FreeStyle Libre: Deleting Libre data failed outright. Fixed.
โจ Improvements
- Fewer pointless requests: A resync now asks each provider only for the kinds of data it actually sends. A Strava resync no longer asks for sleep and nutrition.
- Nightscout re-imports in weekly steps: Long Nightscout ranges are fetched a week at a time rather than in one huge request.
๐ Notes
- Nothing to update. Pair with app 2.6.0, whose screens now say what Delete & Re-import and Resync did.
