Your glucose, on your wrist and straight from your phone. This release gives you a Nightscout-compatible feed for almost any watch, bike computer or widget, adds live Dexcom Share, and reads DIY apps on the phone itself. Underneath that, every local integration has been rebuilt so background sync is fast, stable and honest about what went wrong.
✨ New Features
- Your glucose on any Nightscout-compatible device: Enhance-d now gives you a private Nightscout feed, so anything that can read Nightscout can show your glucose. That includes Garmin watch faces and in-activity data fields, Karoo, Fitbit, Samsung watches, Apple Watch, Xiaomi, Amazfit and many more. Set it up in Settings > Integrations > Watch and widget access, where you can copy, rotate or revoke the link at any time. Part of Pro.
- Dexcom Share: Live Dexcom glucose through Dexcom Share, with the same sync status as the other local integrations. Share only keeps the last 24 hours, so older history comes from Dexcom Clarity, which the app offers to connect straight after.
- Local broadcast import for DIY: On Android, Enhance-d can now read directly from DIY apps on the same phone, including Juggluco, xDrip+ and AndroidAPS. Glucose, insulin, carbs and insulin on board arrive without a Nightscout site in between, nothing leaves the device to get there, and readings land the moment they are broadcast, even when Enhance-d is closed.
- Sync error log: A new log in Settings > Integrations shows what each integration did on its last sync and which ones are failing. Tap share to send it straight to support when something is not right.
🦋 Improvements
- Local integrations, rebuilt: Libre, Medtronic, Glooko and Tandem have been rebuilt from the ground up for stability, speed and clearer error messages. They reuse their sessions instead of signing in again on every sync, back off properly when a service is busy, and Glooko shows when it last pulled from your CGM. Libre accounts in Russia and China can now connect too.
- Background sync you can rely on: Local integrations now sync steadily every 5 to 15 minutes, even when the app is closed, and start again on their own after your phone restarts.
- CGM chart keeps up: The chart's time axis now moves forward as new readings arrive, so the chart no longer looks stale.
- Keyboard no longer covers inputs: The keyboard stays clear of what you are typing into, such as when logging carbohydrates or writing a sleep note.
- Android Health: Health Connect and Samsung Health now work properly. They reconnect after being disconnected, Enhance-d tells you when Health Connect is missing, and it only asks for data it can actually read.
- Apple Health: Improvements to the Apple Health connection and its reliability.
- Notifications in your language: Notifications now arrive in all 18 supported languages.
- Sync status on the chart: A sync status view for every local integration, showing what arrived and when.
- On-device sources first: When the same glucose arrives from your phone and from a cloud service, the on-device reading is the one shown.
- Small boluses tucked away: The insulin logs and chart hide boluses under a cutoff, which are usually pump auto-corrections, and say how many are hidden. A switch shows them again, and the cutoff can be any value you like. Basal is hidden by default and the insulin filters have moved into a sheet.
- Clearer connect screens: Each connect screen says plainly what it needs, including that Libre requires a LibreLinkUp account following yourself. Before your first live connection, a short notice explains that Enhance-d does not raise high or low alerts.
- Distance on your profile: Distance stats show their unit and stay compact, so a big total reads as 1.7k km rather than 1700.0 km.
- Promo codes on Android: A promo code from a landing page link is picked up more reliably after installing from Google Play.
- More Android devices: Enhance-d can be installed on phones without NFC, a camera or GPS.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Daily basal total reading zero: Fixed. The total now comes from the pump snapshot rather than being summed from rates.
- Glooko on mmol/L accounts: Every reading was being discarded. Fixed, along with accounts without a CGM uploading nothing, carbs being multiplied and running basals being added twice.
- Delivered insulin: Tandem and CareLink now record the insulin that was actually delivered.
- Future CareLink readings: A misset pump clock can no longer place a reading in the future and pin the chart.
- Integrations disconnecting themselves: A failed or interrupted credential read no longer looks like a disconnected integration.
- Two syncs at once: Connecting while a scheduled sync was running could start two backfills. Only one now.
- Honest sync logs: An upload that failed is recorded as failed rather than reported as fine.
- Connect screen spinning forever: Fixed.
- Delete my data: Now covers on-device integrations too, and logging out clears every local integration's credentials.
- Year-to-date totals on profiles: Any distance over 999 was showing as zero.
- Comment counts: Counts on activities now include replies, as group threads already did.
- Thread search: Searching group threads no longer fails with an error.
- Podcast listens: Plays are counted properly, including downloaded episodes and ones cut short when the app is closed.
- Daily carbs total: The daily carbs total was missing the source most people's carbs come from. Fixed.
