Reduce Data Smoothing on HR and Power Metrics
Currently the app applies smoothing to the graphs however short sharp changes are not visible as a result. This particular affects intervals with high intensity short bursts such as NM / AC / MAX efforts.
We plan to re-look at the way we're displaying data, reducing the smoothing we're applying particularly to power data (but also HR data) and calculating average and max values from the raw data sources to improve the accuracy of these datasets.
You spoke, we listened, and now we're answering. As of V1.10.0, we've reduced the smoothing so you'll now see much more raw data values in activity detail charts. Keep an eye out for the update in the next few days.
