Freestyle Libre Sync Issues

Same occurred since three days for me.

Now working for me - thanks!

The slight issue with reconnecting is that is the resync, which automatically occurs, has double counted insulin shots over the last 90days (ie it added new shots to the existing data base, assuming I was a new user).

API auth was working, but still no sync into enhance-d.

Elmar B did you try disconnecting and re-connecting the integration Elmar?

Ignacio Alonso can you try disconnecting the Freestyle Libre integration on the Enhance-d app, then re-adding the integration and seeing if it successfully connects? I can then check in the back end if we're seeing data correctly saving again

Henry Aspden Yes, that's the first thing I tried. And then had the same issue with the API as David Bieber I could finally reconnect the integration, but still no sync. No sync since... Any ideas??

that worked well. If it is interesting. I discovered some connections within the LibreLink Up Section within my Libre 3 app. The name of the connection indicated that it was that tryterra API which tried to connect via the LibreLink Up way.

Same here. Remove connection and reconnect is working but the sync won‘t start.

Hi Henry, it’s not resolved yet for me. Do I need to delete the connection and reconnect? Have delete history and requested resync, hopefully that will work.

We're continuing to work on this issue. The issue looks to have been caused by conflicts from an unplanned & unannounced API update from Freestyle Libre for their partner integrations. After working closely with our integration partner, Terra, we’ve been informed that Abbott has temporarily blocked the technical connections required for Libre data to flow through their system. As a result, Terra has had to pause new Libre authentications, and the stability of the existing connection has been affected. To be completely transparent, this wasn’t a decision made by Enhance-d. It’s something that has happened upstream between Abbott and Terra, and unfortunately, it’s impacting active Libre users like you. The positive news We’ve already started working towards alternative approaches so that Libre users like you can continue benefiting from Enhance-d without relying solely on a single integration path. Although the current route is paused, this is driving us toward stronger, more reliable, and longer-term solutions for Libre connectivity. At the same time, Terra is actively pushing for a resolution, and we’re in daily contact with their leadership team. What’s next We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have clear timelines on a solution. Thanks Henry Aspden for the update. FYI I currently 1) import cgm data in the app via Apple health (via sweet dreams - libre link) 2) insulin shots are recorded in apple health via mySugr (nova pen sync) but I don’t believe the app is able to pick these injection from apple health. Maybe it possible to import these metrics from apple health? Obv this is not ideal since 1) libre link updates feel slow and 2) it’s a pain to double record insulin shots (libre app and mySugr). Anyhow might be of use/ wanted to share… Looking forward to hearing your progress.

Hi Henry, Whilst Enhance-d are working on a solution, do you have any suggestions on how I can utilise the app without a Libre integration available please? I'm UK based and the app was recommended to me by my local T1 clinic - and as someone who exercises a lot I'm excited to get set up and start to use Enhance-d. Thanks, Henry W

Hi everyone - thanks for your patience while we worked through the ongoing FreeStyle Libre access restrictions. As many of you know, Abbott introduced a block preventing some third-party apps from accessing Libre data, which temporarily removed the option to sync Libre directly inside Enhance-d. This restriction is still in place, and we’re continuing to monitor it closely. A reliable workaround is now available You can now bring your Libre data into Enhance-d again using Gluroo, which connects to FreeStyle Libre via LibreLinkUp. This provides a stable, working solution while Abbott’s access remains closed. How to connect Gluroo → Enhance-d: 1) Download Gluroo 2) In Gluroo, link your CGM via Settings → CGM (choose Libre via LibreLinkUp) Go to Settings → Gluroo Global Connect → Nightscout details 3) Connect Gluroo to Enhance-d Copy your URL + API Secret Token from the Gluroo Global Connect Nightscout settings page in the Nightscout App into the Gluroo integration page inside the Enhance-d app Android users: You can also connect Medtronic, CamAPS FX, and other systems using Settings → Gluroo Local Integrations inside the Gluroo app. What this means for you ✔ Libre syncing is now fully functional again when connected through Gluroo ✔ Your glucose data, trends, and activity overlays in Enhance-d will update as normal ✔ You do not need to wait for Abbott to re-enable third-party access to regain functionality What’s next We’re continuing to explore long-term, direct Libre solutions for Enhance-d. Once Abbott reopens third-party access - or an alternative compliant method becomes available - we’ll support it immediately and update this thread. Henry Aspden Many thanks for the update! But, if I understand well, this means that we need to use Nightscout. I used Nightscout on my old days with the Dexcom G4 and don't really want to back to it. I guess I need to wait until Abbott removes the block. Many thanks for all your efforts!!

Ignacio Alonso no this is not the case, the Gluroo app provides an endpoin which matches the Nightscout format, so it creates it's own "Nightscout" API. But there is no need to set up a nightscout website etc. Data flows Libre Linkup --> Gluroo App --> Enhance-d App

Zsolt E Fab, this also works much quicker than the Direct API connection too we have noticed with only ~5-minute delays in data in our testing.
