CGM Trace Graph Improvements on the Feed

Hey Thomas Züger We were discussing this idea today, and we wondered how we make events comparable in the feed to end users and I wondered if I could pick your brains... We assume this idea has come about as the majority of the early user's data is in the 70-180mg/dL range (4-10mmol/L) and so the glucose traces in the feed looks a little flat. However when diving into the activity details page you're able to see this graph in much more detail and much larger (if you want to scrutinise it). How do you think most users would react to a logarithmic scale? (there is a linear and logarithmic example attached). A logarithmic scale focuses more on time in range, but it can make the rate of change in glucose levers harder to read. Fede Fontana: Hi Henry and Fede. I'm absolutely aware of the possibility to see the graph in more detail when i open the activity details. And for this i would leave it in a linear scale, since in all the other apps and dashboards it's linear and might be a little confusing when we have it different on anhance-d. Sometimes i just look at the activities in the feed and there i thought it woud get some better insights when the graph/axis is adapted to the glucose range during the activity. But i'm not sure if that would be easily possible to programm/achieve. Best, Thomas

Wahoo... Dynamic Y-Axis Scaling is here ! As of V1.5.0 (build 131), we’ve improved how CGM data is visualised in activity details page. We’ve replaced the static linear Y-axis with a dynamic scale that adjusts based on the maximum value – but only within the activity details card. This change was made based on beta user feedback, with two key goals in mind: To maintain easy comparison of glucose trends across activities in both personal and shared feeds To preserve space above the CGM trace for carb entries, making the data clearer and more useful Thanks to everyone who contributed feedback – it’s helped shape a more intuitive experience.
