Integrating with... Omnipod 5

How to Get Glucose Data from Omnipod 5 into Enhance-d

Many people using Omnipod 5 (OP5) want to bring their glucose data into Enhance-d so they can see all their diabetes and activity information in one place. Below we explain the current options for syncing glucose into Enhance-d - what’s available now, and how it works.

🧠 Important Note: Glucose Only (for now)

At the moment, Enhance-d only ingests glucose data from Omnipod 5 integrations.

That means:

  • You can see your glucose readings in Enhance-d

  • Other data like insulin delivery or boluses from the pump is not yet pulled directly into Enhance-d

  • This applies to all paths described below

We’ll expand this in future updates 👇

🩸 Option 1 - Dexcom Direct Integration (Best for OP5 + Dexcom Users)

If you’re using Omnipod 5 with a Dexcom CGM (G6/G7 etc.), you can connect your Dexcom account directly in Enhance-d to stream glucose readings into your dashboard and mobile app.(view more info here... support.enhance-d.com)

How it works:

  1. Open the Enhance-d app

  2. Go to Integrations page

  3. Tap Connect next to Dexcom

  4. Log in with your Dexcom account credentials

  5. Follow the prompts

Once connected, your Dexcom glucose readings will sync into Enhance-d continuously at semi-regular intervals, with a delay of 1-3 hours, without needing to scan or upload manually.(support.enhance-d.com)

This is the most seamless way to get glucose data if you’re already using Dexcom with your Omnipod 5 system.

📲 Option 2 - Gluroo + Libre (For Omnipod 5 + Libre Users)

If you wear Abbott FreeStyle Libre (e.g., Libre 2 or Libre 3) and don’t have a Dexcom, you can route your glucose data into Enhance-d using a third-party app called Gluroo.(view more info here... support.enhance-d.com)

Enhance-d supports Libre glucose via Gluroo’s Nightscout-compatible feed - this lets Libre CGM data flow into Enhance-d from Gluroo (support.enhance-d.com)

How to set this up

Step 1 - Install Gluroo

Download and sign in to Gluroo on your phone (iOS or Android).

Step 2 - Link Libre CGM

In Gluroo, go to Settings → CGM and choose your Libre type.
Enter your LibreLink / LibreLinkUp / LibreView credentials so Gluroo can start pulling glucose data.(support.enhance-d.com)

Step 3 - Connect Gluroo to Enhance-d

In Gluroo go to Settings → Gluroo Global Connect to get your Nightscout-style URL and API secret.
Then in Enhance-d → Integrations → Gluroo, paste those details and press Connect.(support.enhance-d.com)

When complete, your Libre glucose data will stream into Enhance-d via the Gluroo link in near real time.

🤝 What About Direct Omnipod 5 Pump Data?

Right now, Enhance-d doesn’t pull glucose directly from the Omnipod 5 pump system itself.

There is an experimental integration in Gluroo that can show insulin and pump status details for OP5 when Gluroo runs alongside the official Omnipod 5 app on Android devices - but this is not a source for glucose in Enhance-d, and it’s not a supported or official integration.(Gluroo)

Some things to know about this Gluroo OP5 integration:

  • It can read insulin delivery logs from the Omnipod 5 app via notifications (Android only).(Gluroo)

  • It does not reliably record carbs or glucose itself - glucose still comes from your CGM (Dexcom or Libre via Gluroo).(Gluroo)

  • It’s experimental and should not be used for dosing decisions.(Gluroo)
