Some setups report insulin on board from more than one place. AndroidAPS, for example, can supply IOB straight from your phone and also through the Nightscout site it uploads to. Each one calculates and timestamps IOB a little differently, and until now Enhance-d showed every one of them at once.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- IOB chart zigzagging: With two IOB sources connected, for example Nightscout Local and cloud Nightscout, the IOB chart on your day, on an activity and on a group activity jumped back and forth between the two curves. Each chart now draws from one source.
- Sleep IOB averaged across sources: The IOB figure in your sleep summary averaged every connection together. Each night's sleep now reads from a single source.
✨ Improvements
- A ranking made for insulin: IOB now has its own source order, separate from glucose. IOB reported by your pump (Tandem, Medtronic) comes first, since it is the record of what was actually delivered. Next is Nightscout Local, which is seconds old, then cloud Nightscout, which can be up to 15 minutes behind, then any other connection.

- Nothing to update or reconnect. This is a change on our servers.
- The source is chosen once for the whole day, activity or night, not minute by minute. So if Nightscout Local has any IOB on a given day, it is used for all of that day, including stretches when the app on your phone was not running and there are gaps.
- If you only have one connection that reports IOB, nothing changes for you.
