The largest release so far, and most of it is about talking to each other. Groups have real conversations now, and the app around them has had a thorough going-over.
✨ New Features
- Threads in groups: A step-by-step composer for starting a thread, with replies that nest properly and images in any post.
- Activity calendar: See your activities laid out by month rather than as a list.
- Notifications, rebuilt: A proper notifications list, including group activity, with everything in one place.
- Likes and comments on events: Events now carry the same likes and comments as activities, with counts.
- Globe view on the world map: Spin the map rather than scrolling it.
🦋 Improvements
- Dark mode: A large pass across the whole app - contrast, borders and the screens that were still stubbornly light.
- Pull to refresh: On groups, invitations and profiles, so you are not waiting for a poll.
- More photos on your profile: The limit has gone up.
- Instagram-safe activity exports: Shared images now fit the story frame without cropping.
- Settings, reorganised: The settings page has been rebuilt and its routes tidied.
- Font and text sizes: Reviewed across the app for consistency.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Signing in with Google on iOS: Fixed.
- Leaving a group as an admin: Admins could not leave their own group. They can now.
- Replying to replies: Replying to a reply no longer collapses the thread, in groups or anywhere else.
- Deleting posts: Deleting a post no longer fails silently.
- Bottom sheets on member pages: Sheets now close after you act on them.
- Onboarding: New accounts land in the right place, and the date picker has a sensible fallback.
